LM3 was founded by three IT professionals with a combined 27 years experience in IT and network solutions. Lionel Bernard, Marvin Cassell, and Musumani Woods have used strong relationships in the government and private sectors to build one of Liberia's leading communications and IT consulting firms.

Lionel Bernard
Managing Partner

Formerly a Senior Internet Architect at marchFIRST, Lionel's experience also includes over 10 years as an IT consultant with a variety of companies in several industries. As Managing Director he is responsible for shaping the company's operational strategy, guiding the management team, and overseeing implementation of the company's business plan. He holds a BA in Information Systems from Lawrence Technological University and an MBA from Howard University.

Marvin Cassell
Director, International Business Development and Marketing

Marvin Cassell a founding member of LM3Global Inc. serves as Director, Worldwide service and Marketing, responsible for technology research, development and strategy, product marketing. Prior to formulating the idea to servicing LM3Global, he presently serves as Director of Information Technology at Critical Path, Inc. (Leader in Digital Communications).

Prior to Critical Path Inc., Mr.Cassell serves as Enterprise Engineer at AT&T in Emeryville, California, with direct responsibilities managing AT&T worldwide Network Operation Centers (NOC).

Prior to AT&T, Mr. Cassell, Enterprise Engineer worked at Northpoint Communication Inc., one of the first companies in the United State to design and implement a DSL network within the Silicon Valley, a success which was eventually sold on to AT&T to implement later through Comcast (now implemented as Cable broadband). Mr. Cassell has over 10 years of working experience.

He holds a Degree in Computer and Electronic Technolgy, have various certification including, MCSE (Microsoft Certified System Engineer) CCDA (Cisco Certified Design Associate), and Cisco IP Telephony, SCSA and SCNA (Sun Certified System and Network Administrator).

Musumani Woods
Director, IT Consulting Services/Chief Financial Officer

Musumani Woods has a dual role as Director of IT Consulting Services and Chief Financial Officer managing LM3’s accounting and financial structure and activities. As Director of IT Consulting Services Mr., Woods is responsible for providing strategy, application, enterprise (ERP), and network and infrastructure solutions for various businesses.

Mr. Woods has over 8 years of experience in network design, network management, and systems integration. Mr. Woods serves as Network Manager for one of Northern Virginia’s largest mortgage companies. Prior to that Mr. Woods served as IT Manager for a fledgling tech firm where he spearheaded the company's growth from a small local area network to a wide area network with branches in several geographic locations.
